Robyn Ward is a champion of technology innovation and diversity through entrepreneurship and empowerment. Sought after for her expertise in business model development, launch planning and execution, strategic partnerships, and fundraising, Robyn works with entrepreneurs to help them realize their vision and accelerate growth in their business.
Robyn consults, advises, and invests in early-stage technology companies. She has been a founding team member at five venture-backed technology startups. Her vast experience for identifying new investment and incubation opportunities, and working closely with early stage ventures, was propelled during her tenure at United Talent Agency, where she ran their incubator from 2013 - 2016.
A mentor to numerous female founders, Robyn is passionate about changing the ratio of women-led venture backed companies. She speaks often on the topic and is involved with a number of women’s organizations and events. She currently sits on the Advisory Board of IAMTHATGIRL and The Girls Lounge. In addition, she works with numerous organizations aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship and STEM education.
Robyn is a also a mentor to several LA tech accelerators. She has been named a Top Woman in LA Tech by DigitalLA and a Top LA Tech Ambassador by TechWeek.
Robyn began her career as an investment banker with Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. She holds a BS in Business, with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, from the University of Southern California, where she now co-teaches a class on Technology Feasibility and serves on the Advisory Council to the Lloyd Grief Center for Entrepreneurship.
